Identical to the Kago Koshirae iaito, in overall shape; the Tokujo Koshirae features a select range of iaito accessories and finishing, in addiition to its signature wicker basket patterns. The tsuba, karigane sukashi is elegant and light weight in structure; finished in flat black. Menuki resembles matsu (pine tree), and is finished in an antique style; along with silver wicker basket patterns on the Fuchi/Kashira.

Choose from tsuka wrappings of 100% silk, in either black or uguisu (light green), over black ray skin.

Saya (including hitodome) are available in kuroro (glossy black), kuro-ishime (matte black) or cha-ishime (matte brown). Choose between suguha or kunitsuna (signature hamon), on the toshin.

We have limited the choice of custom options, thus allowing for quick delivery (4 - 8 weeks crafting time) However, despite the greatly reduced crafting time, there are no compromises - we guarantee Aoi quality.

Metal-cast Flex Resistant Heavy Zinc Aluminum Alloy Blade

The toshin width is thicker than the conventional sand-casted blade, it is much heavier at approximately 880g(2.45 shaku). The thick blade enables production of longer lengths in blade without increasing chances of breakage.
